"Our summer has started perfectly", writes Donald Nessi, farmer and manager of "Azienda Agricola Piz Forca", the operator on Alpe Carì in the Leventina valley. Enthusiasticly, he sent a bundle of photos, all in nostalgic black and white. But you still can see the different breeds, since many farmers bring their cows to Carì during the summer.
